YOUR DATA
A clock that stays close.
Development preview · October 2026. This describes the current app architecture, local agent connection and planned purchase handling. Public release privacy information and a support contact will be finalized before launch.
Clocks and preferences stay on your device.
Your saved cities, names, groups and available hours are stored locally. The city catalog and world map are bundled with the app. Comparing time zones does not require an account, a license key or a web search. Optional connected services have their own data flows; purchase handling is described below.
Agent access is optional.
The local development MCP server can calculate time-zone comparisons without an app connection. If you enable the desktop agent bridge, a compatible agent running on your computer can read saved clocks and make supported clock changes in the running desktop app. The connection is local and authenticated; it does not expose calendar event contents. Planning around a saved group uses the available hours entered in TimeSlider, rather than reading members' calendars.
Information returned to your agent can become part of the agent conversation and may be sent to that agent's model provider according to its settings and terms. Enable the connection only with an agent you trust. Hosted MCP account access, cross-device agent synchronization and physical-device control are not available in this preview.
Your time zone comes from your device.
Following your current time zone uses the device’s time-zone setting. TimeSlider does not need GPS location permission to do this.
Calendar access is your choice.
On supported platforms, choose Connect calendar to request device calendar permission. TimeSlider reads event times and the information needed to display conflicts. Calendar event contents are held in memory for the current view, rather than saved in TimeSlider preferences or uploaded to a TimeSlider server.
You can revoke access in your device’s privacy settings. Adding a person’s name to a group does not connect their calendar. Shared-time suggestions are estimates based on the hours you enter; they are not a guarantee that someone is free.
Pro purchases when stores become available.
Pro is planned as a one-time in-app purchase. Once store purchases are enabled, the app will use RevenueCat to check purchase status. RevenueCat and the relevant app store may receive a generated anonymous app user ID and purchase and store metadata needed to process and restore purchases. TimeSlider does not send your named clocks, groups, available hours, or calendar events to RevenueCat. Store purchases are not connected in this website preview.
Desktop license keys and email recovery.
On Mac and Windows, a Pro purchase is planned to give you a license key that can be activated on up to 3 devices, with deactivation and email recovery. Activating a key sends the key and a generated installation identifier to the purchase service so it can check the key and count your devices. The billing service described below is still being built, and this may change before sales begin; the details below describe the earlier design and will be updated.
The desktop billing service has been built but is not deployed or connected to live payments. When enabled, it will use RevenueCat Web Billing with a payment gateway and email sign-in through Resend. The service receives a generated installation identifier, platform and product identifier, and keeps a hashed device credential. After you confirm an email link, it stores that email with a generated purchase customer ID so you can restore a desktop purchase on another computer. Sign-in links expire and can be used once. Calendar events, named clocks and available hours are not sent to the billing service.
RevenueCat and its connected payment gateway will process the purchase and payment information; the email provider will deliver recovery messages. Desktop purchase recovery accounts remain available for restoration. Final retention, deletion and support details will be published before sales begin. Mobile store purchases do not yet link to desktop license keys or email accounts; purchases do not transfer between stores.
Watch and glasses development apps.
The Apple Watch, Garmin and Wear OS apps save city preferences on the device. They use the device’s time-zone rules for local clock comparisons and do not read calendars, sync phone groups or send clock preferences to TimeSlider servers. Device backups and transfers may have their own storage behavior.
The Even Realities G2 companion saves city preferences in the browser or Even Hub’s local storage and sends the displayed clock text to the paired glasses through Even’s SDK. The Meta Ray-Ban Display development web app saves preferences in its browser storage. Glasses hosts, paired phone apps and developer portals have their own terms and data handling. A hosted web app also requires ordinary requests to its hosting server; no TimeSlider advertising or analytics code is included. Review each platform’s final release privacy information before public distribution.
No advertising trackers in this preview.
The current app and this local website preview do not include advertising or analytics trackers. Device backups, connected calendar providers, RevenueCat when purchase handling is enabled, and app-store services have their own data handling. Following an external link takes you to that site.
